Maelyn Bella Giordano
"My name is Maelyn Bella Giordao. I'm currently seventeen years old on May 17, 1993. I am in love with music; I play the french horn and am quite talented. My older brother has a career as a french horn player and has taught me well; I plan on persuing a job as a horn player as well. I have two happily married parents and one older brother; he's my hero. Some of my hobbies are, obviously the french horn, and riding horses. I basically live on a farm; one horse, one dog, five cats, one bird, six chickens, and two ducks. I plan on making my future around music and animals. I dislike relationships, unintelligent humans, and one sided debates. I refuse to label myself with any type of orientation because in my opinion, any human can fall in love with any gender. A little bit about my history? Well, I grew up as the baby of my family and can easily say that I am completely spoiled. Unfortunately, I have grow rebellious and a little out of hand but am slowly pushing myself out of that stage. I was sexually abused when I was a child, and have had too many broken hearts over the years to consider a relationship anytime soon.
hello, i'm rachel, and i'm seventeen years old.

maybe you're not seeing the side of me you should.
Maelyn Bella Giordano sat in her room, fingering over some music that her lessons instructor had told her to practice. The cold, brass instrument was sitting in her lap; a french horn. The piece was called Lux Arumque and it was one of her favorite pieces of music that she'd ever played. It was beautiful, and had the emotion that she'd been searching for. Music had become a part of her life in sixth grade and she was currently a senior in high school. Now, don't get me wrong, she loved other music besides classical. In fact, she liked the lyrics that she sang much more than the notes she played, but she wouldn't trade her band years for anything. They meant too much to her.
Growing up, she'd listened to her brother play the french horn for years and she thought it was the most beautiful instrument, but it wasn't what she had wanted to play. She had started off wanting to be a percussionist but the middle school band director refused to let her. He knew she would go far with the horn, and he was correct. She's had many scholarships to colleges but has yet to decide what college to go to.
As she marked on her music with her mechanical pencil, she heard her door open and saw her mother walk in with her cell phone. "He's calling you, Bells..." Her mother's face looked twisted with emotion and sympathy. Maelyn sighed and took the phone, ignoring the call and turning back to her music. Without a word, her mother shut the door and left her alone. At that moment, Maelyn buried her face in her hands and shook her head. Nobody would ever know of this, and they shouldn't...
maybe it's time to change.
